Welcome to Wilderness First Aid 2024

This course is open to active GCC instructors at this time. I hope to add another to the calendar if there is enough interest.

Please email Andy H. at Andycapp289@gmail.com to get the password to complete your registration. These will be answered first-come-first-served. Payment is due at the time of registration.

If an applicant cannot attend due to any reason, a refund will only be made if a suitable replacement applicant from is available and willing to participate. We are making the process a little simpler this year, you will be charged the cost of the course up front and will not receive a refund or subsidy after completion. The $145 fee for the course will be your final cost, there will not be any partial refunds or reimbursements after course completion. In registering for the class, you agree that you are aware of these policies.

Wilderness First Aid is an intensive 16-hour (2 day) program designed for anyone involved in wilderness recreation, but is also an excellent class for those wanting a more in-depth and advanced first aid class or who are concerned about disaster preparedness in the event of an urban emergency. After the completion of this program students will receive an ASHI Wilderness First Aid certification card (if you are taking this course for your employment, please check to make sure this program meets your employer's requirements).
