GCC conditioner with preference given to GCC students.

GCC students may sign up if they have not already signed up for another Feb conditioner. Non-GCC students and GCC students seeking to complete a second conditioner may sign up after March 24th if spaces are still open.

Lake Serene/Bridal Veil Falls

This trail (with Bridal Veil Falls tacked on) is ~8.2 miles RT with over 2,000 elevation gain.

Parking is limited - please carpool!

Where to Meet: Trail-head

When: We will meet at the trail head at 730am sharp. Be sure to arrive early so you have plenty of time get your gear organized and ready to hike by 800.

What to bring:  You must bring your ten essentials and microspikes. 

Directions:  Follow US 2 east to the small town of Gold Bar. Continue on Hwy 2 for seven more miles to just before it crosses the Skykomish River near milepost 35. Then, turn right onto Mount Index Road. Proceed on this dirt road for just less than half a mile, and turn right on the spur road signed "Lake Serene Trail 1068." The trailhead and large parking area are 500 feet further on.
