GCC Crevasse Rescue Field Trip

    Location: Schriebers Meadow/  Mt. Baker Railroad Grade   

Date/ Time: 8am Saturday June 10 - 5pm Sunday June 11

Preparation: Please refer to your syllabus for a list of required items.

Address: Drive east on U.S. Highway 20 (North Cascades Highway) for 14 miles before turning left (north) onto Forest Road 11 (Baker Lake Road). Drive north on FR 11 for 12.5 miles, and then turn left onto FR 12. Continue on FR 12 for 3.5 miles to the Sno-Park at the junction with FR 13. If snow conditions permit, turn right and drive up FR 13 to the snow line (typically about 3 more miles, near the 2500- to 3000-foot elevation).
