Come join us on a late fall hike up Mount Dickerman! On Dickerman we will grind through nearly 4000 feet of elevation gain but will be treated to stunning panorama views and all-around big mountain vibes. The isolation being off the Mountain Loop Highway gives pure backcountry energy.
The trail is a haul! We will ascend 3,950 feet in a little over 4 miles with some steep sections. As a point of comparison, Mailbox Peak Old Trail or Granite Mountain are good proxy trails. If you can comfortably do either then this is another good one for you!
Microspikes and headlamps (shorter days!) along with the 10 essentials are required. Poles are recommended.
