Shriner's Peak

Let's be the first again as they open the road to climb Shriner's Peak! We'll go a special winter route and should be making the first tracks! This will be the 4th year in a row and always fun! Firewatch tower at the top has one of the best views of Mt. Rainier. 

  Round trip distance- 8.4 miles

Elevation gain- 3420 feet

Lookout elevation- 5834 feet

Passes- Mt. Rainier annual pass or America the Beautiful or Day Pass

Dogs and kids- No

Gear needed- 10 essentials, microspikes, lunch

Directions- From Enumclaw drive 47 miles on state route 410 to SR 123, turn right onto SR 123 ( Cayuse Pass Hwy), following the signs for White River. Drive about 8 miles south of that junction to reach the parking area. There is parking on the right side of the road immediately before the trailhead which is on the left.
