GCC PORTER TRIP: DC UP

July 1st, 2022

Help support the GCC student climb up the DC route on July 1st. This is without a doubt one of the most memorable and cherished traditions of the GCC. You'll be there to provide snacks, make water, help carry gear, and whatever else the climb team could use to help their chances at success!

Please arrive ON TIME at the Paradise parking lot at 8 AM. Be ready for a long day carrying a heavy load up the Muir Snowfield. Bring a large pack in order to carry as much of the climb group's gear as you can safely handle.

This is not a trivial hike - it may include whiteout navigation, sudden winter storm conditions, extreme heat, etc. If you have never done this hike, or are worried about your preparedness/conditioning, please check in with the lead of this trip to see if it is appropriate.

NOTE:  By registering for this activity during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency, all participants agree to abide by the OSAT COVID-19 Code of Conduct Addendum and associated OSAT COVID-19 Guidelines.
