Tom Morgan was among the first members of OSAT, #29 on Jim Hinkhouse’s log of contacts as he planned the 1991 AA Mount Rainier Expedition that became the foundation of OSAT.
Tom was likely the most experienced mountaineer ever involved in OSAT; he brought enormous climbing experience to the club. His strength and endurance were a marvel. He, and his wife Leah (who died about ten years ago) were wonderful friends and humanitarians.
. All are invited, and long-time early OSATers who may no longer be active have been notified.
Donations in Tom's memory should be sent to St. Mary of the Valley at the address above, noting that it is to be directed to the benefit of the Mary Bloom Center in Tom's name. Tom (and Leah before her death) participated in the church's ministry to the center in Peru.
