This is a GCC conditioner with preference given to GCC 2018 course students.
GCC students who have already signed up for another conditioner and non -GCC members may sign up after March 11th if spaces are still open.
This is a roughly 7.5-mile hike that gains about 3,000 feet elevation.
Please meet at the Cable line trailhead at 3:00 pm. We will start hiking at 3:15 pm and plan to attend the Thursday Evening AA meeting on Tiger 3. We will aim to be back to the cars by 9:30 p.m.
We will circle up at the Cable line then go down the road to High Point Trail then to Dwights Way then to West Tiger 1 and ending up at West Tiger 3. Bring some food to share with others. (see the resumption of the Thursday night meeting announcement )
Extra time has been added to this conditioner to allow for a moderate pace and still make the meeting at 7:00pm.
Bring your 10 essentials and traction devices. Make sure you have plenty of snacks and water. Also a change of dry clothing and plenty of layers and raingear to adjust for weather changes and sitting for an hour in the cold on Tiger Mtn. Trekking poles are a good idea on the cable trail.
REGISTRATION: Please CHECK THE BOX that says "Attendees list." so we are able to identify who is participating.
Directions to trailhead: Going east on I-90, take the High Point exit, Exit 20; turn right at the bottom of the exit and then right again to follow the frontage road back to the west. Look for us near the small parking lot just before the gate to the upper Tiger parking lot. You may park along the frontage road without a Discover Pass as long as it's not one of the few "No Parking" stretches, which are signed. Be aware that this is a high car prowl area. You should not leave any valuables in your car.
Contact the leader with any questions or to cancel your registration. Last-minute cancellations for emergencies only, and you must call. NOTE the telephone numbers of the leaders below when you register.
